attended the christmas party at aunt jill's.

the gift exchange this year was really special because all of us sat in a circle; awaiting the emcee to tell a story. the tale included the "right" family and their friends. so, at the mention of the word "right" or "left", everyone's supposed to pass the gift in that direction. the gift exchange is then deemed complete when the story ends. (i got an astray, like, whatever for?)

the kids (only he is) are playing wii. (he held on to it throughout and others only watched although there are two consoles, maybe the rest just did not want to play with him.)

oh, i bought something from crabtree and evelyn which was really nice! i love that! and if it was not for the exchange, i would have kept it for myself.

well afterall, this is the season for giving.

i am a little heavy- hearted tonight. maybe i am just tired. i need a good rest. i need some time alone, to think things through and let it all out. maybe we all need to do so, at some points of time in life. guess it is time to save up.

how can i regain myself?
