woke up at 10:20a.m when the interview was scheduled at 11a.m. yet to print my resume and related documents, i rushed to fuji film printing shop and was charged at SGD$1 per piece of paper.
(panicky matt): i wanna print this, this and this. (from his thumbdrive)
shop assistant: okay, one by one (opens the documents one after another, slowly and said) one paper one dollar.
matt: (puzzled) you mean one piece of paper costs one SGD?
shop assistant: yes.
matt: why?!
shop assistant: this is how we charge.
matt: (irritated and in a rush) are you sure?! (pause) forget this, i'll take it! whatever!
shop assistant: there are 10 pieces.
mstt: (gave the "jiao" expression, took out a SGD$10 note, place it on the table and left hurriedly)
matt realised that he forgot to photocopy his other documents while he was on board the cab. he kept praying still. the interviewer was later than he is and that gave him some time to prepare his heart, mind and words.
the interview went on quite well (in matt's opinion) and he really wants the job!
do continue to pray for matt that he will get the internship opportunity at this established and dynamic organisation.
